I was born in Mumbai, India, but I've had a life full of transitions, traveling to different countries with my expat parents.  This included completing middle school in London, England, and returning to India to complete a BA in English Literature from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.  In the early 90's I moved to Washington, DC to complete a Masters degree in International Communication from American University.  I worked in Washington, DC for eight years, leading international business delegations for telecom companies. And then in 2001 I followed my heart, moving to Austin, Texas to marry my husband, Victor, closely followed by the birth of our daughter.  The most recent adventure for our family was the chance-of-a-lifetime opportunity to move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  We spent three glorious years, living, working and traveling around Asia, experiencing different cultures and learning about the world. But it was also a comfort to return home to our wonderful life and community in Austin, Texas. Coming back to Austin gave me a new appreciation for this weird and wonderful city. I am amazed at how much Austin has grown over the years, and excited about the potential for it to grow even more!

My husband and I have bought and sold many properties, some for investment purposes.  Our most recent purchase was our current home, which we bought online and sight-unseen, before we moved back from Malaysia to the United States.  We have experienced the rollercoaster of all these transactions, from the stressful, nail-biting moments to the joy and excitement of home ownership.  I know first-hand what it's like to move a family, search for the best schools and settle into a new environment.
